Kindle Valentine Days promotions - gift ideas

If you are anything like me, then you are scratching your head at the moment trying to come up with something other than flowers and chocolate to get your partner for Valentines Day. Although my fiance is not much of a techno-geek, i'm thinking of getting her a Kindle reader.

At the moment Amazon UK are running a Valentines Day promotion offering 20% off any cover when you buy a Kindle. It might not sound like a lot, but if you plan to get a Kindle anyway then you are also likely to get a nice cover to go with it.

And if you are getting a Kindle, why not add their favourite book with the bundle, just for that extra personal touch showing how much you care.

Amazon Kindle Fire tablet set for January 2012 UK release

The Amazon Kindle Fire has just recently gone on sale in the US with Amazon reporting on very strong early sales, rivaling the performance of the Apple iPad 2. There has however been no word on a UK release date for the 7-inch tablet so far, but sources are now talking about a possible January arrival for the popular tablet here in the UK.

It is Knowyourmobile that claims sources are indicating the January arrival of the Kindle Fire, but there has been no comment from Amazon on the rumor so far, so as with most rumors like these i would take them with a pinch of salt.

Will there be Kindle deals on Black Friday

Amazon UK are currently running their Black Friday Deals Week and for those following the deals closely there has been a few Kindle related accessories in the deals so far, but with the actual Black Friday coming up I have my fingers crossed that Amazon will add some additional great Kindle deals.

In addition to Black Friday deals which end at midnight 25th November, Amazon UK is also running a Kindle Daily Deal, where a new Kindle related product will be offered up at a discounted rate every day, running for 24 hours. You can find out more about the Amazon UK Kindle Daily Deal here.
